The Grendel (Japanese: グレンデル) was the Imperial flagship of Wolfgang Mittermeyer whilst he held the ranks of commodore and rear admiral.
Service history[]
The Grendel's first known battle was the Sixth Battle of Iserlohn in 794 UC (485 IC / 3594 CE). It went on to fight at the Battle of Legnica and the Fourth Battle of Tiamat, as part of the Lohengramm Fleet, in late 795 UC (486 IC / 3595 CE). (HBSHBL: 'A Hundred Billion Stars, One Ambition'; My Conquest Is the Sea of Stars)
Following Mittermeyer's promotion to vice admiral and induction into Reinhard von Lohengramm's new Admiralty in 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE), he transferred his flag to his unique flagship, the Beowulf (which carried an identical crest). (LOGH: 'The Battle of Amritsar Starzone')
Subsequent service of the Grendel is unknown.
